This can be an issue though if do get surprised by an enemy (which can happen often in Project Zomboid), but as long as you are a stealthy player you should be fine with Thin-Skinned! Also prevents you from using the radio for weather/helicopter event warnings. In a game where getting injured has a high chance of death, you won't want to get hurt often anyway. You can simply plant a couple more crops to get the same effect. The only reason it isn't more highly ranked is after a few months you get less and less panic from zombies anyway. When fast forwarding tasks, it gives you enough time to react and kill surprise zombies. Every traits related to weight and fitness/strenght can evolve/go away. Not exact numbers, but a zombie that has a 100% chance to see you on a tile per tick with inconspicuous might only have a 92% chance. This one may be a no-go for you and I can understand that. Not bad per se, just not worth the points. The end result is usually pulling a few more zombies than you would without the trait, making it a decent negative trait for a combat build. This included a list of some of the strongest positive traits that one can pick up in the game. But even then, you dont have to read books too often when you are leveling your character. If you manage to level up your fitness level a couple of points you wont see the effect of these traits at all.
