The Raymond Burr Vineyard, originally founded by Robert Benevides and the actor Raymond Burr of the hit 50s television show "Ironside", now showcases multiple award winning wines from a truly beautiful vineyard. In 1976, Benevides' father bought portions of the existing Raymond Burr Vineyard Estate, and years later, Benevides and Burr planted vines on their 40 acres of farm in Dry Creek Valley. Pinot Grigio, Merlot-Sangiovese produced by Opici Wines, Purchased by Donald Trump, but owned & operated by son, Eric Trump, Kerry Woolard as G.M., and Jonathan Wheeler, winemaker. In 1965, Burr purchased Naitauba, a 4,000-acre (16 km2) island in Fiji, rich in seashells.
